Welcome To Dwayne Beard's Boat Wrecked Island
What is Boat
Wrecked Island? It is Dwayne Beard's 4 bedroom, 2 full bath vacation home. It's located
near Bull Shoals Lake 3 miles from the
public access ramps at both Noe Creek and Sister Creek. The house is on 15 acres with a
small pond. Dwayne feeds the local
wildlife twice daily. Guests enjoy watching the whitetail deer and turkey that roam the property. You can enjoy watching wildlife from the deck or through the
great room window. No hunting
or fishing is allowed on the property.
Kitchen Area
The full kitchen is
furnished with modern appliances including a refrigerator with an icemaker, full size 4
burner gas range with oven, mixer, microwave oven, drip coffeemaker, electric can opener, and a 2 slice bagel toaster. Utensils include a food chopper, pots, pans, baking and
serving dishes, and enough tableware for 12 people. Kitchen hand towels and dish clothes
are included. The dinette set has two extra leafs which will then comfortably allow
seating for up to 8 people.
Deck, Bedrooms, & Great Room
The covered deck overlooks part of the
yard surrounding the house. The deck has two sets of steps, one on each side of the deck
for private entrance to two of the bedrooms.
The house is on a
keyless entry system through the front
door. There are no keys to fuss with, you just remember your assigned four digit entry
code.
Ceiling fans are in
every room expect kitchen and bathrooms. The house sleeps 9 persons comfortably or 12
persons when using the two sleeper sofas in the great room.
The master
bedroom has a queen bed and a portable wall mounted TV with remote. Second bedroom has a full bed and a reading/sitting
area. The third bedroom has 2 extra long twin beds and a private entrance from the deck.
The fourth bedroom has 3 extra long twin beds and also has a private sliding glass door
entrance from the deck.
All bed linens,
towels, and wash clothes are provided except pillows and pillow cases. All you need to
bring is your pillows, toiletries, and food.
The great
room has a 42-inch HDTV with remote. All satellite channels are provided IF only
adults are in the group. We remove the box if children under 18 years of age are present. With children present, only locals
channels from Springfield, MO and Mountain Home are available. A DVD and/or VCR are
available upon request.
Also available upon request are the following:
Wireless internet service, free local and long distance out going calls, charcoal smoker,
charcoal, gas, or electric outdoor grills, a toaster oven, full size washer and dryer, and
covered parking.
